12 Ingredients - Fog Lifter Potion

There are times a plant is perfectly happy in just the right soil and proper light, and, there are times when they need a little help getting out of the ground. Often though, it is difficult to find the key elements in nature. This is when fertilizers come in handy. Below is the list of my personal nutrients that helped me get up and get out.

1.      Family & friends love & support

2.      The Challenge Program at the Women’s Resource Center of Sarasota County..but there are equally encouraging women’s groups around the country, seek them out if you need help http://www.thewomensresourcecenter.org/

3.      Setting new goals, with deadlines and holding to it. To be a legit goal, make it S.M.A.R.T. Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic & Timely

4.      Professional therapy and Alanon

5.      Early morning walks…every single day, listening to motivational books and happy music ( Motown & Abba works for me)

6.      Reading: Besides every ‘travel the world on $50 a day’ type books, these 2 were life savers: The Book of Awakening by Mark Nepo and The Practice by Barb Schmidt

7.      Meditation. Lots of free choices on You Tube

8.      Inspirational quotes. Here’s a fav from Liz Gilbert: “I can choose my thoughts. So I've started being vigilant about watching my thoughts all day, and monitoring them.  I repeat this vow about 700 times a day:  I will not harbor unhealthy thoughts anymore.  The first time I heard myself say this, my inner ear perked up at the word "harbor,” which is a noun as well as a verb.  A harbor, of course, is a place of refuge, a port of entry.  I pictured the harbor of my mind -- a little beat-up, perhaps a little storm-worn, but well situated and with a nice depth.  The harbor of my mind is an open bay, the only access to the island of my Self.  This island has been through some wars, it is true, but it is now committed to peace, under a new leader (me) who has instituted new policies to protect the place.  And now-- let the word go out across the seven seas -- there are much, much stricter laws on the books about who may enter this harbor.”

9.      Remembering the light at the end of the tunnel: my mission to ‘slow travel’ the world for 365 days

10.   Remembering. “Look where you are going, not where you’ve been”

11.   Yoga

12.   Cocktails, let’s be honest here. Specifically, Vodka & coconut water
